Makes 20 wonton wrappers
YOU WILL NEED:
20 wonton wrappers
3 oz of cream cheese
dash of green onions
1/4 pound of imitation crab
1 teaspoon soy sauce
1 teaspoon sesame oil
2 cups oil for frying
1.In a bowl mix cream cheese, soy sauce, sesame oil, green onions and crab and mix throughly until ingredients are mixed evenly. (Image 1)
2.In a separate bowl, beat egg.
3.Place wonton on a flat surface, eyeball the amount of cream cheese mix and place in the center of the wonton. User your finger and place beaten egg on two sides of the wonton edges. Fold over the wonton and press edges together creating a triangle. Repeat on all wonton wrappers. (Image 2)
1.Heat oil in a frying pan. Once oil is hot enough place wontons in pan and cook until golden brown and turn over. About 3 – 4 minutes on each side.
2.Place cooked wontons on a paper towel-lined plate.
Enjoy with sweet and sour sauce.
