YOU WILL NEED:
1 oz. package of whipped CREAM CHEESE (firm won’t work so well)
1/3 cup of SUN-DRIED TOMATOES in oil, finely chopped
2 teaspoons of LEMON JUICE, plus zest of 1/2 lemon
1/4 teaspoon of SALT
1/4 tablespoon of BLACK PEPPER
2 tablespoons finely chopped fresh BASIL
1 teaspoon fresh THYME, stemmed
1 16 oz. loaf of fresh BAGUETTE
1. In a mixing bowl, add sun-dried tomatoes, lemon juice and zest, salt, pepper, basil, thyme and cream cheese.
2. Stir ingredients together until well blended.
3. Set aside and slice baguette into 1/2 inch thick slices
4. When serving, spoon about 2 teaspoons of tapenade spread mixture onto sliced baguette and garnish with chopped basil
